The big 30!

Yes I am now 30 and I have to tell you I am not that happy about it but what can you do, huh. Here is a picture of me and my friend Margie Hess. She was so sweet and arranged for babysitters for our kids and took me out for ice cream. Thanks Margie!

Then we went out to dinner a couple of days later when we had some family visiting to celebrate with us. We went to this awesome restaurant called Claim Jumper. The food is soooo good and as you can see the portions are HUGE. This sandwich was literally the size of my head:) This is quickly becoming my new favorite place to eat.

Miss Brinley is 2!

Brinley is now the big 2! She is such a little sweetheart and we just can't get enough of her. She is so fun and we absolutely LOVE her.

Our Trip To California!

The end of February we took a trip to California with our good friends the Hess's. Unfortunately Ryan was not able to go last minute because that is when his cancer was returning and he was starting to feel sick again. At the time they did not know it was coming back and he had to stay behind to have tests done to see what was going on. Margie's dad came instead and he was a huge help to everyone. The first day we took the kids to Sea World.




This was the first exhibit we saw and they were all fascinated.

Then we took the kids to Legoland and they LOVED it!!

Next a relaxing day at the beach. It was a little on the cold side ( anything under 70 is now cold according to our standards) so we did not swim but the kids had a blast just playing on the beach and digging for seashells.

Brody's 7th Birthday

Brody is now a big 7 year old! I cannot believe it. He is growing up so fast and is so mature now, but he is still the sweetest little boy ever. This is the first birthday party he has been able to have outside so that was pretty exciting for him. We love Tucson!

And still very much into TRANSFORMERS!
