In October and few friends and I were able to attend Time Out for Women here in Philadelphia. It was such a fun day having the chance to be away from kids for a minute and listen to some awesome speakers that really empowered me and made me feel like I could do anything. Some times it is hard for me to stay motivated being a stay-at-home mom but Time Out reminded me that even though I don't go to work everyday my job at home is the most important thing I should be doing. Plus meeting Hilary Weeks was icing on the cake. She is Awsome!!!

Did I tell you I've met Hilary and spoken with her a couple times? She is in the Matis' ward and has performed at the firesides they do a couple times. We had quite a good talk the first time she performed (the second time was just a couple months ago, and I obvsiously couldn't go, being in Texas). She's very down-to-earth. The Matises absolutely love her.
